The animated replay is now much jerkier than before because fewer frames are being shown. Click on the edit replay parameters button, edit interval to 0.5s and click OK. Just as you can zoom in and out in space for a closer view, so OrcaFlex lets you zoom in and out in time. The replay consists of a series of frames at equal intervals of time. At the end of the simulation the replay begins again. Negative time means the wave is still building up from still water to full amplitude. ![]() Simulation time is shown in the status bar, top left. This means that you see the simulation start from still water, the wave building and with it the motions of the system. The default replay period is whole simulation. ![]() Use the view control keys and mouse as before to change the view. ![]() An animated replay of the simulation is shown in the 3D view window. As the simulation progresses, the status bar reports current simulation time and expected (real) time to finish the analysis, and the 3D view shows the motions of the system as the wave passes through.Ĭlick the start replay button. If you are running the demonstration version of OrcaFlex then you cannot do this, but instead you can load the results of a pre-run simulation.Ĭlick the run dynamic simulation button.
